When managing a chronic condition like diabetes, it can sometimes feel like that condition is taking over our lives. Many people go through various levels of emotions, from grief to anger to — hopefully — acceptance and action. 

Still, even once we get to that last stage, the stress of managing the day-to-day of living with diabetes can, at times, feel overwhelming. It’s important to acknowledge this fact, own it, and be aware of how to deal with it if it sneaks up on us.
